Dr Taej Arun Mundkur works as a nature conservationist and independent consultant. Taej holds a PhD in waterbird ecology and an MSc in microbiology.

For over three decades, Taej has worked with Wetlands International in Malaysia, India and the Netherlands. He has also worked on projects and missions for BirdLife International in Asia.

Today, Taej is also a university lecturer, teaching waterbird and wetland ecology, monitoring and conservation leadership to Masters, PhD and post-doctoral students.
