The Regional Marine and Coastal Forum will be held at the Palais des Congrès (formerly the Palais du Peuple) in Nouakchott, Mauritania.

Location of the Forum

The Palais des Congrès (formerly Palais du Peuple), with its sober and functional architecture, is located in the center of the city of Nouakchott on Mokhtar Ould Daddah Avenue.
The Palais des Congrès (Congress Palace) is designed to host major political, cultural, and entertainment events: forums, conferences, galas, and artistic performances. With its three large halls (seating 100 to 700), lobby, and several meeting rooms, the Palais des Congrès Nouakchott has been a leading venue for internationally renowned congresses for over 30 years. It has also hosted numerous international conferences and summits.
The Nouakchott Convention Centre offers an ideal infrastructure of over 115,000 m², including over 6,000 m² of built space, to accommodate tailor-made and multidimensional events.
In addition to meeting rooms, the Palais des congrès also has 6 very high-standard guest villas, a very large modular marquee, an expandable banquet hall with 120 seats, high-performance technical equipment and staff experienced in organizing major events.
